Greetings! I too am new to this site, but hope to share information. I currently reside close to the Indiana & Southern Railway, having grown up on the I&F Branch of the Penn Central (nee Pennsylvania Railroad). Questions? I will be glad to answer any I can.

Welcome aboard. What's traffic like on the Indiana Southern? Is that a Genesee & Wyoming property?

Yes it is. Rail America acquired it in 2000; G&W acquired Rail America in 2012. Mostly coal for Indianapolis Power & Light (Elmer Stout Generating Plant), some mixed tonnage, the # of trains have decreased. This line was known as the Indianapolis & Vincennes, later became a Pennsylvania Railroad branch. Later, Penn Central. I recall trains on it my first year of college at Vincennes University. By the next year, it had been abandoned as far as Bicknell Indiana. I believe that it may go as far as Beehunter Indiana, where it then heads to Evansville. With all the farms between Indianapolis & the Evansville area, they could do a booming business with grain & other agriculture commodities. ( I'd love to see an end to heavy semi usage through here!). I keep meaning to get to the tracks & capture a movie or two. At least photos. Where is the time anymore?
