Hello everyone, I have been enjoying all the info and photos on this forum. I have worked as a carman for the last 17 years , recently I took a job as a shopcraft instructor for a class 1 railroad. I develop and instruct classes for the mechanical – car department peoeple.
With this position I do get asked all sorts of odd questions so I have been educating myself in all things rail road, not just the car department. So this forum will help me a lot I think, and if there is a question that comes up that I can chime in on, I will do that as well.
