Hi Rail Fans,
I need advice. I live in what could almost be considered "literally" on the tracks in Laramie, WY (50 feet max), on a main UP line. The engines stop in front of the house -- probably parked 1-2 hrs/day total between the various engines. I'm considering turning my house into a vacation rental but don't know enough about railroading to know if this idea would fly. Thoughts or opinions are much appreciated!

Engine moved to Railroad Park and old Depot 1 block away.

Come to Wyoming - It Blows!!

or
Laramie WY - home of 3 things: Trains, Wind and the Coyboys
(I was born in Cheyenne, so I get a pass to make fun of the place)
ok - actual question - Train watching rental house.
No clue what the demand is for such things - but have seen at the back of Trains Magazine
http://trn.trains.com/
add listings for "railfan rental lodging" - and some of the places are picturesque "Bill, WY" therefore there has to be some kind of demand out there for it.
try listing it and see what happens

Cheers!
