Hello, I am new to this forum and I hope someone can help with my question.
Is there a website that shows the scheduled running of "special" trains
(like the circus train or private cars?)

I live next to the tracks in central Florida and would love to know when to watch for unusual trains. :)

This is always a good site to track trains.
Although the Union Pacific is less common in Florida there is a UP's Special Locomotives Traced thread: http://www.railroadforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26562&highlight=special+locomotives
There is the Amtrak 40th Anniversary locomotive locations. It's not official but it’s the best I found: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Amtrak-40th-Anniversary-Locomotives-Location-Page/146871332039199
There is probably more that I just can’t remember. As for circus trains like the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey; on the site they said they can’t trace their train for the public due to erratic train schedules. I have no clue where to start on private cars; I guess you just have to be lucky. :D
I hope this helps and welcome aboard.
