I haven't heard much in awhile, so what's going on up there lately? I know they were opening some sort of museum last I heard.
Yes, the trains now go from the Elbe depot to the Mineral shops where people can tour the locomotive and equipment collections and see ongoing projects. The old Quinault camp cars from Camp 6 Museum are also set up for display. More landscape work is in progress including a picnic area and the shop is painted to match the camp cars so it's really a neat place to visit. Concrete paths and signs connect the buildings for improved accessibility (including wheel chairs) so it's well worth the trip if you haven't seen it lately. It's really a nice destination and gives an educational component to the trips that people appreciate.
