Get your camera's ready - Watco's 2013 Calendar Contest is underway. First place (cover): $500 Second place: $250. Ten additional prizes to include photo for each month - $100 each

Submissions must be received no later than September 30, 2012.

For digital photography, 4-color high quality printing requires 300dpi images at 100%. This works out to 12.75 megapixel (10.5” x 13.5” @300dpi), far beyond the native capabilities of standard point-and-shoot cameras. Digital SLR cameras can save photos in the RAW format. This is the format we prefer for the calendar.

Forgive my confusion, but what exactly can the subjects be? I had to look up the company website just to see what Watco was. I assume it has to be a photo that deals directly with one of the railroads owned by the company?

Lee- Sorry for the confusion on my part. They want photos of their trains on any of their shortlines or photos from any of their switching locations. Photos from any of their transload, or car repair locations would probably be aceptable also.
