General News:
VORA now enter its third year of operations as of July 2012. Full year of sessions planned out including 75 MSTS ops sessions. 36 RW ops sessions and we will be adding our third simulator RUN 8 soon as well (see below)
Dispatcher training program will have almost every DS position filled by the end of the year. New DS class this week will add 4 more to our total.
Yardmaster and MOW training sessions added to schedule as well.
All training programs based on information direct from1:1 scale class one roads. You want to learn how to get the most from your sim and do it right then VORA is the place to be. Nothing else comes close. VORA does the hard part of turning any sim into a railroad.
MSTS News:
Work continues on our library of custom equipment available to qualified engineers. Nice mix of pieces from 1960s right up to modern day.
Work starting on several VORA routes as well. These will only be available on our forum as well when they are completed.
Next hiring class for new crews coming September 13th and 16th at 8 pm eastern. Sign up at : http://vrma.proboards.com/

New crew qualification sessions running this week. If interested in learning how to get into our RW prototype sessions, apply at the address above to get all the details.
Route is the CSX mainline Washington to Cumberland amended to prototype with permission of the creator/developer. VORA works many hours to get every route as close to its 1:1 real world counterpart as possible in every sim. Full session this Saturday 8/4 from 1 pm to 9 pm.
RUN 8 News
We will begin hosting sessions for this sim on our own dedicated server. These will be for VORA qualified engineers only. All VORA session will feature live qualified dispatchers, yardmasters, MOW personnel and more. These will be our most realistic sessions to date given the extensive work done in this sim. You will not be disappointed and I encourage all VORA members to purchase this sim when it becomes available.
Actual dates for sessions are being added to schedule now and will feature full day (12 hour sessions) and a number of Mini (4-5 hour sessions as well.
That about does it for now except to day thanks to the crews and support team for another great session this past Saturday on the MSTS Kingsport route set in 2008. Next time we venture back to 1988 for lots of cascade green....
