Vomit Bonnet spotted in Auburn, WA today

Driving past Auburn yard on lunch break I noticed the BNSF 9647 Vomit Bonnet was the 2nd unit on a grain train stuffed in the yard. Its been many years since I last saw that unit out here.

A 2nd note, this is the third grain train in 2 days I have seen with an SD70MAC somewhere in the consist. Yesterday the I saw a grainer going through Reservation with a 70MAC on the point, then this morning in Ellensburg the BNSF 9990 was the single DPU on a empty grainer going through Ellensburg at 8am. That unit hasn't gone too far since I saw it.

I was meeting up with some people on Tuesday evening at the Everett station. I decided to come down the frontage road that roughly parallels the tracks. I came to the stop sign before the station, looked towards the tracks, and almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. I had some time to kill, so I headed down to have a look at it. The train was a westbound Z waiting at PA Jct with Vomit Bonnet in the lead and a CSX unit third in the consist.

Quite an interesting sight and unit. Hopefully it gets back up this direction sooner than later.
