Hello All:
I run a forum group dedicated to running prototype sessions in V Scale using Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS). Our group is known as the Virtual Railroaders' Multiplayer Association (VRMA). We hope to be adding other sims such as RW and TRS sessions soon as well.
We regularly host operating sessions featuring lines all over the US and Canada. Our next session is coming up this weekend 3/5/11 and features the Conrail Indianapolis Line. The session is set in April of 1994. There are 20 road freights plus a few locals running in this session. The operating session starts at 1pm and runs until approximately 10 pm. All times are eastern time zone.
We will be streaming live audio of this session at our website:
http://www.vrma.webs.com
The live feed starts at 1 PM. Just click on the link and the audio feed and you can hear all the action as dispatchers, yardmasters and crews operate over this 191 miles of railroad. We will also have MOW crews working on the track in this session so get ready for form D's and speed restrictions as well. You do not need any new software or anything fancy to hear all the action on our "scanner" feed.
If you would like to learn more about what we do and how we do it, please visit our forum at: http://www.vrma.webs.com
I will be hosting a live Q&A coming up on 3/9/11 for anyone interested in learning more about our operating sessions and how they can get involved.
Hope you will take a few minutes and tune into the session and join us for the Q&A session as well.
Thanks,
Nick C.
