Well I got lucky, I got invited to UP hiring session for Train Crew, two years ago applied and was hired for CSX but resigned for overseas Deployment. So i just have couple questions: (and yes I looked around but was wondering if anyone had anything current)

Appearance Check
Safety First Check
No Smoking Check
Reading Test Check

past that was just wondering if anyone could offer up any more information for what to expect at this "hiring session" I obviously do not want to dress in slacks and end up doing a PT Test.

This is all the information given aside from ID requirements CHECK and guard shack checking in. No mention of reading test (which I know will occur) PT Test, Drug Screen, 1.5 mile run lol ect ect

"You are currently registered to attend the Hiring Session for the Pine Bluff, AR Train Crew position at xxxxx Diesel Shop, xxx Pike Avenue North Little Rock, AR on xx/xx/2xxx.

Congratulations! Union Pacific would like to invite you to a hiring session for the Train Crew position in Pine Bluff, AR.
The hiring session will be held at the Jenks Diesel Shop 2nd Floor Lunchroom (Jenks) (xxx Xxxx Avenue -- North Little Rock, AR xxxxx) on xx/xx/xxxx, and will start promptly at 8:00 AM.
Late arrivals will not be admitted."

And thats the sum of my invitation. Anyone have anything current I have used google to death ect and just wondering, I know at CSX we got the washout speech, washout test and finally lucky few got Interviews that day with conditional offers made.

Like a good soldier well Veteran I wanna show up prepared and ready for antying, sorry guys if I seem....ignorant but I am Army Vet and we Belive in K.I.S.S Keep it Simple and Stupid

So if anyone has any clue or hunch of what to expect or am I Correct in my assumption it will be similar to CSX. I only am asking due to the 2 hour drive to my testing location I sure do not want to wear nice clothes when I should have wore something more casual or for instance resist the urge to cut my hair back to military standards (hey an inch makes me feel like a hippy)

Thanks ahead of time and yes I did search the forum and google for the last....two hours just wanted to check to see if anything had changed or how different UP vs CSX procedure was.
