MP 72 - BNSF Spokane Sub.
Hey all,

I'm in Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Sparks, Nevada right now.. Had some questions about traffic over the next 24-36 hours in and out of Reno/Sparks and on the Reno industrial branch question..

Does anyone know what might be the traffic count for tomorrow on Donner?? Feather River??

Anyone know when the job that services the Reno Industrial line go out there??

My friend and I spotted UP 717 & UP 812 shuffling a string of about a dozen to fifteen TOFC cars from somewhere on the east side of the Yard office to the one intermodal ramp track about 11:30am-ish..

UP 1612 & UP 1596 are connect to a series of cars on the east side in the south yard with the units back to back.. Anyone know what these units are assigned to??

Well its going to be pretty light for traffic in daylight hours for the next 36 hours, according to my line up in Reno. Looks like 3 trains between 7 and 9:30am west bound and 2 trains east bound between 6:45 and 8 am. The locals won't work Sunday but Monday will see the Reno branch job anytime after their on duty time of 7am. The Lovelock local goes on duty noon on Monday with a pair of GP's, an ex-WP GP40-2 and ex-SP GP60. The two SD40's may be on the Fernley local or the Reno job. Last time I saw the Reno job it had an SD40-2 and ex-DRGW GP40-2.

The Feather River should see 2 west bound in daylight hours, although the BNSF will probably run a couple east bound trains to Keddie and north. One train in Portola is a work train with 16 side dumps with an SD60M on the point. Monday will have a local going west from Portola on duty at 5am.

Mid week seems to see more trains in Sierra on UP tracks. I-80 is a parking lot at times with the snow this weekend.
