UP Jefferson City Sub Double Track

What's that? Something other than pumpkin orange from me? I guess I'm trying to break the monotony. I went out to the UP Jeff City Sub between Washington and Hermann, Missouri this morning. This is the double tracked main between Kansas City and St. Louis. It did not disappoint. I'll tell you, this double track thing takes a little getting used to, with trains coming from both directions with no rhyme or reason as to which track they were on.

Nice photos Bill. I haven't been out to New Haven in a year+! I need to get over there again. Is the movie theater near the tracks still open?

It looks like that old theater is still open. I guess they show dollar movies now? That whole old town area of New Haven looks like it's the same as it must have been back in the 50's or 60's. Pretty interesting.
