Went out this morning to catch a rare appearance of the UP E9 unit, special passenger train. The train made into Eagle Pass Friday night and was safely put away in EG Yard, A SD70M UP 4245 was add at Spofford rear of the train. This morning it made a short trip east to Carl, on board where customers as well as civic leaders. Thanks to everyone for the heads up.

Nice set of pictures Joey. That SD70 was added so the train didn't need to be turned in Eagle Pass. I think the west leg of the wye at Spofford is not in the best of Condition so they didn't want chance a derailment.
Good photos Joe. Every time I have seen that train in Beaumont it had the 949 on one end and 951 on the other no freight units.
