I am wondering where this unit is located. UP still has some SD40-2s on their roster, but I've heard that the engine was retired. If so, where is it now? I am curious because I want to see this engine.

I would be happy to hear anything about this unit, if anybody knows anything about it.

Thanks!

Denver, CO stored for something. Its been retired, unretired, retired again. Foamer rumor has it being saved from the torches.

By what I know, the 3300 is not getting sold or scrapped, but it is stored in Denver. I was lucky to catch it on the NS back some time ago. One of the best all nighters I ever pulled.
