Train Expo - Locomotives, Wings and Wheels

Owosso, MI
The Steam Railroading Institute (SRI) of Owosso, MI is putting on a three-day weekend event that will include trains, WWII aircraft and antique cars. Just like in 2009, Pere Marquette #1225 and a number of visiting steam locomotives will run passenger trains and other public events.
Lerro Productions will run three railroad night sessions during the Train Expo event. There is also the possibility of railroad morning sessions as well as an aircraft night photo session TBD. The night session lighting will be with our professional video lights, which allows the photographers the freedom to walk around and shoot from multiple angles within the scenes. The locomotive positions will be different each night.
Thursday Night -- The Thursday night photo session will feature a mix of large scenes as well as tighter human interest shots. This session will be limited to 30 participants
Friday Night -- The Friday night session will be broken into two parts. The first part of the night session will be two hours of large scenes in and around the turntable area, featuring all of the visiting engines. This session will be limited to 50 participants.
The second part of the night session will feature two hours of tighter shots with complex lighting that will require photographers who are more experienced and are able to shoot quicker in order to make room for the other photographers. This session will be limited to a smaller group of 20 participants. Anyone interested in attending the smaller session must participate in both parts of the night session.
Saturday Night -- Just like the Friday night session, the Saturday night session will be broken into two parts. This session will be limited to 50 participants.
