5th Generation Texian
...from Westfield, Tx (N of Houston) brings us a very long mixed drag with just about everything imagineable heading south to Houston. Also, i noticed a very unusual sounding horn on this one. Anyone know why?

I've noticed in my area {Seattle-Tacoma) that UP SD70ACes, like your leader there, tend to have strident, very unmelodic horns. Maybe that is what you heard.
