I just got my copy this weekend. I think Dave has done an excellent job, plotting out the route with GPS coordinates, maps, useful information. If you ride the Empire Builder, or want to add this to your railfan guide collection, this would be a good addition.

Funny you should mention this, I just saw the thread about discontinuing timetables and guides. Now I'm confused?

Should I assume it's the one you are writing about and this guide will continue to be published? If I "Head West" I'll want one. And new this year!

Any guides for, Texas Eagle or California Zephyr? Or is the Empire Builder the only one worthy of it's own guide?
