From my son’s living room window.

It was only hauling one car but usually hauls 4-5 at least once a week. Crosses many un gated roads and driveways so it moves at a snails pace.

A better shot of it earlier in the fall. Think it was built in the 70’s. They have an older one in their depot at the beginning of the spur. Not sure if that one is from the 50’s. Definitely needs a paint job but they don’t use it anymore.
Mainly used to haul chemicals for the adhesive tape manufacturing company in Hudson, the lumberyard in Granite Falls or the one furniture plant in lenoir.
The line was real busy i assume when the U.S. furniture boom was taking place. They still make some furniture here in Hudson and Lenoir but there are several huge brick buildings that are derelict or have been repurposed.

Yes you can’t see it but the Fire station is the brick building to the right of the house. So you get great entertainment with trains and fire trucks coming and going.
I love trains and was a fireman so always fun.

Yes. I saw the fire station but forgoto mention it. Great location!
Also continued north on US-321 A Alt.

GooglEarth is wonderful allowing us to view things we would never otherwisee.
While transporting blood platelets redightsiren to a hospital, I passed a camera vehicle with spinning mirror on top. GooglEarth?
Would be fun to see themergencyehicle on streetview. Other than photo red light tickets I never geto see it in the wild.

For years they did not photour housing development. When they finally did, it was our trash and recycle day. Everyone's trash and recycle containers are in the pictures.

Yes i wish i could get my house aerial view with my Jeep in it, but I always park my Jeep inside the garage. Oh well. For the longest time our Florida house’s aerial view didn’t show the pool we put in, but then finally it did.

Never park outside if you can garage. Lowlifes may break into it for whatever they can find.
Idiot broke my friend's side window. His passenger door was not locked.

In a satelite view, a light dot in our back yard may have been Piganini, white potbellied pig basking in the warm sun.
You never sausage a pig!
