Pat- It was formerly assigned to the Austin Western RR (AWRR). I think they were going for a Burlington paint scheme when they chose that color.

I was in Wichita last summer and got a look at the Watco/Wamx power collection there. BAR GP38's, UP GP50's, BNSF SD40-2's. Even a old Conrail patch job with the PC logo coming through. Cool stuff.
