A short 'road trip' (from Cypress, Tx to Katy, about 15 miles...) yesterday to see Miss Katy on display in Katy, Texas for the 4th. The town was named for the railroad and she often comes home to visit. The locals were here to see her, lots of families and kids taking advantage of the photo op. She's a favorite of mine, and all the times I have seen her previously she wasn't leading. For safety reasons, the steps were wrapped with red rope and some paper warning placards were a bit of distraction but they were easily removed in editing. I also touched up some major chips and rust on the handrails. She's definitely been working hard but she still a real looker....
