Hello,

after a long time i have time for a longer Post. We started our tour in Düsseldorf Airport. We take a flight to Belgrad an get from SIXT a car. Our first destination was the region around Sombor. We want to take photos from the class 712/714. This class will be retired soon. But the weather was worse. But we get one photo in Sivac.

Before the storm is coming, we take a picture from 712/714 207 with a local train from Vrbas to Sombor. 26th June 2016.

After the photo, we leave this region, and drive to Romania. I thought 134 Km (85 Miles) we can drive that in around two hours. But we need nearly five hours. Our problem was the storm with heavy rain and thunderstorm and the cloesed border crossing near Kikinda. So we must take a detour to an other border crossing. We found a hotel in Jimbolia. Not the best, but enough to sleeping.

Early in the morning, we started our next day with two Romanian class 79. But the weather was not the best. It was hot, but cloudly. We decided to visit the line Timisoara-Jimbolia some days later.

img_5790kypmt.jpg
Later on the line Timisoara-Cruceni we take a photo from 97 0102 with a local train to Timisoara in Peciu Nou. Only 3-4 trains per direction disturb the grass while growing. 27th June.

We take a hotel in the northern of Oradea. We want to visit the next day the route 300 from Bukarest to Oradea. But the next day, the weather was bad too and we look for good places to take photos.

On the 29th June, we have bether weather and we started early in the morning.

Later in Poieni: 64 1013 pull the IR1834 from Timisoara to Iasi.

After this photo, we have a small problem. Our tank was nearly empty and we have no idea, where is the next gas station. We searched a long time and the needle from the fuel gauge was now at zero. I know the next town Huedin must coming in some miles, and one mile before Huedin a gas station.... closed... In Huedin we have luck, there was a open gas station. We were relieved. :-D

We take for the next night a Motel "Route 60" near Cuicea.

The next morning, the weather was brilliant. :)

Than, we have another problem with our car. The dew in the morning and a car on the meadow was a bad combination. After a half an hour, our car was back on the street. Than we visit for our breakfast the gas station. It was this gas station, which was closed a day before. It was the first day for the gas station.

We started our next destnation. --> Serbia. It was a long way over damaged streets and we need over five hours. And than was a police control near the border. At first they where unfriendly. After some minutes they were frendly and they lought about our dirty car. I think in time of the refugee-invasion, they are stressed. The german refugee-politic was a problem for many eastern european states. We could understand this. But politic is politic and railway is railway...
