Hi All, When I was working at the Reader in Arkansas in the late 1970's we had a Kalamazoo rail car that could carry about 25 passengers. I think it had a flathead Ford V-8. Never got it in service, but it was fairly complete. Does anyone know what became of it? I'm now the CMO at the Craggy Mountain Line in Asheville, NC, and would love to get that car and put it in service on our old Southern branch. We run a Kalamazoo car now that's reconfigured as a trolley, powered by a Chevy six with automatic trans.
Thanks for any info, Chris Lord
