I suppose when ATSF painted red-and-silver warbonnets on FP45s in the late 1980s, that could be considered a "heritage paint scheme"; and a few scraggly GE warbonnets are still prowling BNSF.
I forgot to add Amtrak to that list.
Is it Respondek? or RJ Corman that has an Illinois Terminal Geep?
Respondek, and they have an SD-40 also in the IT green. # 2301
The GP # is 1604

Do not know if it counts, but the KCS is going back to their "hertiage" Belle paint.
CP Rail has 3 GP38-2s (I believe) in Delaware & Hudson paint that are marked as heritage units.
Although not an entire unit painted in special levery, you cant forget about BN's Pacific Pride unit, #2075.
It is still working and as of this week its in Pasco, WA.
The NS did an excellent job on their heritage units, much more accurate than UP's
What about Wheeling & Lake Eerie's scheme which is rip-off of Rio Grande?
IOWA Interstate has a Rock Island heritage unit.
Isn't there a north-eastern commuter line painting their locomotives in New Haven livery?
