Hi, New to site. I have a light that was near a hump yard at a local rail yard that was demolished. Kids smashed the 4 lights in it. On both sides there is a Blue light and next to it an amber light. Unit was made by General Signal Company. The lens I need measure 5 1/4 inches outside diameter and domed about 1 inch. In the lens there are 6 flutes on the top nothing in the center area and 6 flutes on bottom. A number 2 on center of lens and a vertical arrow line and a 0 on the right. Assume flutes are there to diffuse light. On outer edge of lens inside is marked Corning USA then 5 8DY20 DFL CG CDE 111. Assume this is number of the lens. This unit I assume was used to signal pusher Locomotive when to push cars over hump? Will take photos soon. Thanks for any help.
Hi, Just went out to light and got some numbers off it The light itself is 14 inches long, 12 inches wide including eyebrows on both sides and 11 inches tall. There is a cast in coupler on the bottom that accepts a pipe that slides into it would be about 3 1\2 inches in diameter. Numbers on one side of unit is 38726-20XA. On the top hinged lid is marked General Signal Company Rochester NY with a number 38\27-10 cast in lid
here is a photo of this light. Also another light rescued from yard.
Any help identifying these would be great. Thanks.
