Hello, I just moved into a house previously owned by a railroad enthusiast. I have some signs that I have questions about. Here of most of them.

The "W" is to tell the engineer to whistle for an upcoming grade Xing.

Thanks guys! I'll have to look into those a little more now. I think I found a few more things today. I'll grab a couple more pictures.

The yellow S is for a slow order and the green R is for resume speed at the end of the slow order. Spring switch is usually S.S.
