Funny one liner

My friend and I once hung out at a railroad crossing just west of Leavenworth WA on BNSF's Scenic Sub back in August 1999, and while waiting (it was a little slow at the moment) we watched some satellite TV. My friend just bought a Honda generator in Wenatchee, so he wanted to test it using the TV and dish...after about 20 minutes, a younger teenager rode up on his bike, and asked what was happening. We said "Watching trains.", and he said "WHY? They go this way and they go that way," gesturing both ways down the main track. Only then he noticed the tv and satellite dish....we still make that comment whenever we talk about some rr thing.....good times :D is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to - An online railroad bookstore featuring a curated selection of new and used railroad books.
