From 26th October until 2nd November I was on holiday in Katowice. I have been asked by many friends, why I just do in Poland vacation. Katowice is a city in the "Upper Silesia industrial area" an is located in a coal region. For this you can cheap shopping in Poland.
26th October:
I started my tour in Hanover and drove to Bielefeld. In Bielefeld I take the EN447 to Berlin HBF.
In Berlin HBF we must wait for three hours and take the EC249 to Wroclaw.
Between Forst and Zary.
Between Zary and Wegliniec.
SU46 032 during locomotive changes in Wegliniec.
From Wroclaw we travel with a TLK to Katowice.
27th October:
The next day we visit Katowice Ligota and Katowice Petroviec.
EP09 027 in Katowice Ligota.
A TEM2 in Katowice Petroviec.
A "Kibel" with a local train direction Tychy.
28th October:
The "Upper Silesia industrial area" has the largest tram network in europe.
A Konstal 105Na in Dwor(Katowice).
The same place with 521.
Dandowka(Sosnowiec), 530.
The overland route to Kazimierz Petla ends in a small village.
440 between Zakret and Kazimierz Petla.

Huta Pokoj (Ruda-Slaska) with a tram to Chorzow Ratuiz.
The same place with a tram to Chebzie Petla.
From Chebzie Petla we take a bus to Bytom. It was an old German bus. This only consisted of rust.

The line 38 near Stacja Ruchu (Bytom).
In the Evening we visit Katowice Glowny. A TEM2 with a coal train.

EP08 013 with a TLK to Warzawa.

30th October:
Huta Pokoj again, ST44 1202 with a coal train.
