SDRX 922, a 4000 horsepower Motive Power MP40PH has been testing on the BNSF line that Sound Transit runs on south of Seattle. This picture was taken at Auburn on 3/1/13.

What is your malfunction?
Yesterday, we were working on main two right out by the King St station and I watched the 922 back in on King-2 and waited for a while to pick up some ST officials and maybe some people from the locomotive buider.
they brought the idle up for a short while and I thought it sounded nice but in my opinion, that beige or cream color is a bit off from the cars.

Great picture, like its in Auburn, hometown.

I thought the new engines were MP56i's or something like that, there still cool though, new blood on the tracks. I just wish there was daily service.

-The colors on the new locomotives are different from the older locos and the passenger cars. The new locos have a brighter green, darker tint of blue, bolder tint of aqua and the white (cream) is more of a beige. Someone would have to look up ST's official order scheme that was to be added to the new locos to see what the 'colors' are.

I was driving by Boeing Field on Thursday around 10am and saw 923 pulling a train south.

Then on Friday, I was parked by the Horton St crossing about 1pm when 921 and 923 came by pushing a train northbound. As it passed, I couldn't see any passengers inside so I assume it was a test train.

The 921 and 923 were double heading southbound through Dierenger about 11:00 Friday the 15th. I saw someplace they had purchased three of these. So if that is true they are all here and running.
