The Ridley Island coal trains have been dam well on their turn around from CN to Rupert back to BNSF at Thorton yard.Mind you CN sheds power at PG or Terrace and runs them into the port 1x1 as its water level along the Skenna river.4 trains ago CN tacked on a 53 car block of manifest traffic to the H/E and cut it off before handing it over to a northpool crew at Thornton.Why run a 8000ft train when 10,000 also works.Last 2 days 2 more headed north.
Check my Mile Post 18 thread in the western US forum for photos of PR coal trains which pass through Edmonds. One went through yesterday with 3/2 power distribution. The trailing unit of the headend set was BNSF.
not all of the CN power on the coal trains is CN lettered
IC 1004 in the consist came down on a empty coal train and went back on CREW4 on 4/15/11
