Hi folks,
I thought I would join the forum as I have always been interested in trains ever since I put pennies on the tracks as a 10 year old. I’m now 55. I live on or near the site of a fatal train wreck of the Raquette Lake Railway. It happened in 1913. I believe I unearthed several artifacts from that crash. I will try to post some pics tomorrow.
I should add that I hope you will post up photos of trains in the Adirondacks this fall when the autumn leaves are out.
I posted some photos of some old hardware on another thread today.
