I am trying to see what I can find out as per the pevine route "NS Cincinnati district" from Portsmouth Ohio to Cincinnati, Ohio. I am looking for the N&W years 1980 up to the NSRR years of 1987. I do know it is has some very sharp curves and in some spots there are 1 to 1.50 % grades.

I am asking about this line because of a future HO scale layout I would like to build. I want coal mine service, I would like end of train helper service for my trains, and a country hilly area into an industrial area.

1.so I am wondering if that would be an area for helper service for some trains?

2.I do know it is not a run threw line no more and the track has Been taken out of service at pebbles, ohio? AND WHAY WAS THIS DONE FOR?

3.What kind of fright was run over this line, unit train coal loads? and symbols?

4.What kind of costumers were along this line?
