Hello,

I post there some of my photos. Those one are from the trains of the NStCM compagny (Nyon-St Cergue-Morez) witch is located near Geneva. The line start in the underground station of Nyon. It's the train I take every day to go to school.

Some photos from the 1 december 2010. It was the first day with snow this year !

On this photos you can see the actual train that are operating of this line. Thay are called Vevey. The official name of those train are "Be 4/4" and the car are called "Bt". They are from 1985. The catenary has 1500V in.

Be 4/4 mean : "B" = second class and "e" = electric train. 4/4 mean 4 wheels motorized on 4 wheels
Bt mean : "B" = Second class and "t" = car with a conductor place. The Bt is not motorized !

Here, you can see a normal train on the NStCM with the Be and the Bt (the First car is the Bt and the second a Be)

This photo was taked on the track 1. You can see a normal composition with again a Be 4/4 and a Bt.

This is the Be 4/4 number 202. She is always alone and without Bt. She is in service only for the night and sometimes with a normal composition -> Be 4/4 + Be 4/4 + Bt.

This is a view from the actual station of Nyon :

This is the driver place :

I hope you enjoy it !

More photos later if you are interessed !

Bye ;)

Nice shots. Photography with those lighting conditions can be difficult.

Send us some more views.

The snow plow is a classic!

That would be quite a view from the "operator's" chair.

Thank you for those nice photos. I was in Nyon about 40 years ago and the I think the train colors were the same. Of course there was no underground station then.
Nyon is a lovely medievil town, well worth stopping on your way north from Geneva.

Hello !

I didn't came here since 1 year... I forgot this forum.... sorry.... :(

I have some new pictures of train in switzerland :

I want to finish with the pictures of the NStCM and then I will post pictures from others compagny.

For the chair on the snowplow, she's there because the snowplow has only a handbrake. Also the FOT -> Federal Office of Transport didn't agree about this... the service personal put a chair on it to brake if there is a problem.... of course no one go on it...
I don't know if you understand what I said, but I wrote the best I could.

Okay, there are the pictures :

BDe 4/4 + Bt in the winter near Arzier :

A four car composition in automn near Arzier :

A Be 4/4 alone in Arzier :

Crossing in Arzier at the left : Be 4/4 + Bt. In the middle : BDe 4/4 231 from 1953 (She has a sister, the number 232 they both come from the CJ compagny) and at the right : Xtm 2/2 (X = mantenance, t = low speed train and m = Diesel motorized train) :

Near Saint-Cergue, last train with this old BDe 4/4 number 232. Now she's not permitted to roll... :

Next time, if you want, engines maintenance pictures in the engineshed of the NStCM.
And after that, some pictures of the SBB CFF FFS (Swiss Train Federal Compagny)

I hope you'll enjoy...

Good night ! It's 9:40 Pm for me.

Hello !
Thank you !!
So, the SBB CFF FFS compagny is the most important compagny in Switzerland. After the SBB CFF FFS come the BLS (Bern-Lotschberg-Simplon) they both are in normal gauge and after the RHB (Rhaetian Railway)(narrow gauge).

I haven't got a lot pictures of the CFF but I will post the best here :

I start with my favorite locomotive, it's a Re 4/4 II from 1970' (R = Curve speed limited locomotive, e = elecrical motorized) :

These old locs are now used on the old regional train or for the freight train. They have cousins, the Re 6/6. The Re 6/6 were used on big passenger train in their first years of services. Now the only roll with freight trains....

This a reversible coach for the Re 4/4 II and RBe 4/4. those trains are from 1960, they were renovated in the middle of the 1990' :

This is the only picture of a Re 6/6 that I have, she's in "Cargo" livery :

This is a Multiple Unit train with two Re 4/4 on one of our bigest train in west Switzerland :D (yours are a lot bigger... ) :

Now, pictures of a RABDe 500, those trains are pendular and were built in the end of 1990'. They are able to roll at 200 kph ! (The fastest limit in Switzerland) :

The interior :

Another type, the RABe 523. This is one of the newest Regional train of the SBB CFF FFS. There a four differents models in service, one for the France-Switzerland, one for the Italia-Switzerland, one for the Germany-Switzerland and one only for Switzerland :

This is a Re 4/4 VI or Re 460. They were built in the early of the 1990' and are now used on 200 kph trains and 160 kph trains, here on a 160 kph train :

Here on a 200 kph train :

This is the new model of the shunt locomotives of the SBB CFF FFS an Ee 922 :

This is the old model for the shunt of the SBB CFF FFS their names are Ee 3/3 they are from 1930 and still in service !!! :) :

Enjoy ! ;)

Good night !!
