My Lucky Day is a free online Railroad Discussion Forum and Railroad Photo Gallery for railroaders, railfans, model railroaders and anyone else who is interested in railroads. We cover a wide variety of topics, including freight trains, passenger and commuter railroads, rail news and information, tourist railroads, railway museums and railroad history.

Took a trip down to Tecumseh NE Monday. Saw a grain train as we arrived. Didn't have the camera ready. Moved up to St. Mary for the next train, and what do you know, it's the same lashup that Allen saw on Sunday except on a tank car train. Hurray my first NS heritage unit. The last one is west of Greenwood waiting for a welder to finish working on the frog at the crossovers at MP41.1. TZ

Great work Tom!

I would assume it was the same train, it was on its way to KC. There was also a NS heritage unit on the next train behind it when I saw it. I hear the 1074 should be heading south soon too. That would make a third this week! is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to - An online railroad bookstore featuring a curated selection of new and used railroad books.
