Proud Earthling
Hi,
Part 2 of the series from my Eritrea trip in October 2018.
Featuring mallet steamers 440.008 (Ansaldo 1915), 442.54 and 442.55 (Ansaldo 1938) on the Nefasit - Arbaroba section of the Massawa - Asmara railway and life around Arbaroba station. The name of the station Arbaroba constructed at a daring spot https://goo.gl/maps/jRTghgPwJv8xjJ3U6 refers to tough times. In Tigrinya, "Arbi" means Friday and "Rebu-ah" Wednesday - both fasting days of the Coptic church, together called "Arbaroba".
