I bought these off craigslist last night the guy said his grandfather worked for the railroad they appear to be railcar axles i think probably off of some sort of mow. the weird thing is both have two different types of wheels they are narrow guage and measure 36 inches long and the wheels are about 9 inches tall any help as to what they are off of is much apr

well the one with a single flange could be a narrow gage axle from a MOW vehicle. The other one with 2 flanges is probably a pulley.
Thanks for the reply see the weird thing is they both have that pulley looking thing on them each have a regulaur wheel and then that pulley looking thing.
