MRSR held a photo charter this past Saturday.
I was only able to make it out to the event for the night session.
A big thanks to the MRSR staff and volunteers. I'm pretty sure they were all pretty tired after such a long day. I haven't been up there since the "shops" became the "Museum". It's quite a nice transformation. Lot of hard work involved.
Thanks also to the lighting crew!
Here's what I came away with (after some digital development time).
1) Some of the MRSR crew relaxing in front of a work in progress, before the night session starts. This is a three exposure HDR image. Not to everyone's taste, but I like it.
2) The Willamette using ambient lighting. f11 .4 seconds at ISO 10,000.
3) Another angle on the Willamette.
4) A recent addition to the operating steam roster.
