I really do miss trains. 6 years ago, I moved here to Southern Oregon and settled 500 yards from a double track. O frabjous day! BUT - I soon discovered that that is an old, seldom used freight track meant for the fall harvests around here. Once a month or so, a CORP crew swaps out a propane tanker at a local substation? (I can't find the technical name for this kind of installation). At long last, they did this on a day that I was home, with a charged camera phone - this is my first ever railfan video - learning heaps along the way. Very glad to have found this site - looking forward to digging deeply into things.
