Could see where it crossed this point. (2012 photo)
Also found the built up right of way in neighborhoods north of here.
Anyone know where it went?
Thank you.
Yes!
In the 1960's thatrack path was much morevident, especially when throughew neighborhoods, north.
When parents drove from Pittsburgh's North Hills easto grandmother in Lewistown, at a US22 grade crossing there were old mee-mool lights (o)T(o) which looked antique. As a child I did not like them because they looked so old-fashioned.
Nowouldike to see them again.
Still trying to find where thatrack crossed US22. Have not found any trace on GooglEarth satelite view.
In Blairsville I remember the huge GULF neon sign and bony piles with a little white smoke always coming outhe tops.

What a shame that Horseshoe Curve is closed. The one time many have an opportunity to visit - Thanksgiving / Chirstmas -
the Hosershoe Curve people close it. $14.50 to visit. When we visited in the 1960's it was free.
Appears the track path paralleled what is now Brennand Rd north to Murtaugh Rd and curving northwest to the south side of Forest Rd.
