Don't be Ignorant
2003 wasn't that long ago was it? In working on some of the photos I took in September 2003 I can see how many changes there has been in these what seems like 7 short years.
On September 13 I headed over to eastern Washington and northern Idaho for a few days. Here is some of what I photographed.
1) BNSF M-SPOPAS with 3113/3125/3027/3013 is working hard through Tyler, WA west of Cheney headed for Pasco. Most days now, this same drag freight runs with a pair of BNSF C44-9W's.
2) Buffalo graze in the distance as the Z-PTLCHC heads towards Fishtrap where the 3113 West is waiting. Don't hear much of the buffalo that were always a lot of fun to include in photos at this location anymore.
3) The BNSF 3113 leaving the siding at Fishtrap continuing its run to Pasco.
4) This has to be one of the best paint schemes on a GE in my opinion. I just loved the blue and white on the CEFX GE's. UP train M-SKHK comes into Cheney, WA with CEFX 1018/CP 9680 at 1:48 PM headed for Hinkle, OR. I have not photographed one of these blue GE's since.
