Why is DO NOT STOP ON TRACKS sign obscured on GooglEarth streetview? South-facing signal's sign is also blurred.

In 1964 my grandmother said a semitractor trailer rig, on the US-322 on-ramp, was hit by the train here.
As a little boy I walked across this trestle looking down between the crossties at the flowing river.
The creosote preservative in crossties is a human carcinogen.
