OCSR plans on bringing out McCloud Railroad 25 on July 4th and 5th. We will be moving the 25 from Tillamook to Garibaldi in the afternoon of July 4th. We are hoping to arrive in Garibaldi in time to run 25 on the 4PM departure, not guarantied. 25 will be the star for the eveing trip to Rockaway Beach for the fireworks show.

On July 5th we will run 25 on all three regular excursion between Garibaldi and Rockaway Beach starting and high noon. Following the days trips 25 will return to Tillamook for storage. Unfortunaly the expansion of the Garibaldi engine house is taking longer than planned and we do not know when 25 will be out again.

Hope to see you then,

What is your malfunction?
George, I did some exploring for the McCLoud ROW and nothing remains except large stacks of ties and red ballast, the only track that I think remains is the crossing across Hwy 89 and the crossing bungalo.

Have fun with 25, it's the perfect size engine for those trips. See if you can get a photo with the fireworks and loco. You may have to stand in the ocean for that. Aaron: has my grand niece formed an opinion of steam locomotives yet? Tom

Marty, it runs on steam!
What's up with the F unit? Did Doyle McCormack sell it or is it just stranded there now?
