I will be interviewing with the Union Pacific railroad next Tuesday. I am flying from Memphis to Wyoming to attend, so I am very serious about it. Years ago when I was 18 I was involved with the wrong people and was involved in a burglary. I was 18 years old and since then have never been in any type of trouble. I had a judicial diversion, completed my probation, and it was expunged from my record. I have been hired by other companies after this with no problems and have run numerous checks on myself with nothing to show.
My question is "Do I need to bring this up during the interview?". I would rather not, but I'm not 100% sure that they will be able to pull it up. The lady at the court house said it is not a public record and only the FBI has a copy. I really don't want to shoot myself in the foot here and mess up this opportunity.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
