All the time I read railfan's talk about where they were and what Sub's there on. As someone new to railfanning, I'd like to know the names of current BNSF Sub's in my area. Is there a map online somewhere showing them? What about ex'Subs and such?, maybe that's too much into history. Anyhow, any info on this subject will be very helpful. Thanks.

There are system maps on this site. Subdivisions may not be named, but you can probably put the names on the maps with what Rob and the beaver have posted above.
Thanks ballard beaver and robjacox for your info so far.
@ GE Power yes I did join FriendsoftheBNSF recently, is there a map showing the different Subs?
Pschuman21---Dave Cooley of Sonrisa Publications has an excellent publication of Washington and Northern Idaho Railroad Maps. Couple that with NW Timetable #8 from Altamont Press, and you have a great foundation of information to work from. Also, there is a lot on the web about NW rail fan spots. Just Google NW Railfanning, and you'll find a lot of great info. Check out Dogcaught's blog site and Dave's Railroaded blog site for more information.
What is your malfunction?
Not to forget the entire Woodinville sub between Snohomish and Renton, that we (BNSF) once owned till a few years ago but we still own a portion from Renton Jct to Scopa for the Renton Rocket to bring in 737 fuselages to the Renton plant.
What is your malfunction?
And, we got the Anacortes branch between Burlington and the refineries at Fidalgo bay, Cherry Point sub out of Custer, and the Sumas branch between Burlington and Sumas.
