As my user name implies, I am a very new Texan to this hobby. However, I am not new to 'spotting' in general. I am very active in the Houston, TX plane spotting community, and even co-run this site:

I suppose the interest in railroads is explained by natural extension of my fascination with airplanes. And after all, what boy doesn't grow up not having look at the rail in awe?
At the moment, I am interested in mainly Houston area moments.
