Hello. I also registered at ModelRailroadForums.com, so I apologize if you're having to read this twice.
I'm just getting into the hobby, and in my research on where to start, I've found several treasure troves of information, not the least of which being this forum. I'm looking forward to learning a lot and perhaps being able to pay that forward at some point.
So far all of the model railroad hobbyists I've encountered have been a real pleasure to speak with (in spite of my picking their brains with some pretty rudimentary questions). I look forward to meeting more of the same here.
