On Sunday 11/18/2012 I happened to see a GP-20D (CEFX 2004) in consist northbound through NW Portland.
Last night (11/19/2012) there was another one (too dark to make out the number) in a light power move.
Where are they headed?
gads, hadn't seen those in a while. They were thick as flies around Houston a few years back. Mostly GP20D, but also a few of the smaller GP15D as well. Had a chance to chat with a crew once, they loved it if only because (compared to their normal GP15-1) the AC worked. In Houston, that's about the most important feature there is.
Didnt CORP lease a mess of them when Fortress sold off a bunch of RailAmerica GPs to get more cash on hand?
Puget Sound & Pacific had at least one on the property last summer...another RailAmerica (soon to be GWI) property.
