Here now Part two of the journey with the Molli.

We spend some time at the station in Kühlungsborn West and observed what’s going on. After our train arrived there, the loco uncoupled and stood for a while on the other track.
All new pictures are taken on the 10th Juli 2013. The old pictures are taken between 1992 and 1995 (I don’t know the exact date.

All pictures where no place is mentioned are taken in Kühlungsborn West.

99 2324 stands on a track adjacent to our train and rest in the sun.

Some years ago 099 901-1 at almost the same place in Kühlungsborn West. According to a website I found, became this loco the number on the 01.01.1992. The number of the loco was before that date 99 2321.

99 2324-4 has now some meters moved and is still waiting for what is coming next.

Also some years ago stood 099 901-1 almost at the same place.

The crew is prepared to start shunting soon.

Shunting has begun.

And years ago it needed not long before shunting would began.

Some minutes later 99 331 came out of the shed.

99 331 is also waiting to begin with shunting.

In the meantime has 99 2324-4 coupled on her train and is waiting that the journey to Bad Doberan can begin.

What a coincidence that I have taken some years ago a picture of another train to Bad Doberan with 099 901-1 at almost the same place.

Now 99 2324-4 leaves Kühlungsborn West with the train to Bad Doberan. The train is just passing the railway crossing.

This is a view at the station. Inside is also a café and a museum. The entrance to the museum is free. Also there is some other stuff of railway history to see at the outdoor area.

99 332 is one of the other things which you can see in the outdoor area.

Here is another view at 99 332.

Beneath 99 332 on the right hand side is the small outdoor area where the other interesting stuff is.

Then we decided to have a break and have a look at Kühlungsborn itself. While we were walking through the streets, we met this train:

kbg9.jpg

A special touristic train, often to see in towns where many tourists spend there holidays.

Back at the station 99 331 was still shunting.

99 331 is coupled with an old freight wagon.

This old third class coach is also in the line of coaches of the special train with which 99 331 will later traverse the line to Bad Doberan.
