Hello,

here are the last pictures from my summer holliday.

24th July:
I decided to visit Austria this summer, but only a day trip. On the way I wanted to spend a few hours in Tüssling. Then I wanted to look for a hostel in Munich. I wanted to take a night train from Hanover to Nuremberg, but this train was failed. So I had to take a late ICE to Franfkurt(Main). I´ll be there around 12:30a.m. and I get a taxi to Nuremberg. Good that this is the DB paid. At 9.00a.m. I arrived in Tüssling, a small town near Munich.

And a freight train direction Salzburg.

I drove back to Munich to rent a hostel. I searched in vain for three hours. There was only a 12-bed-room for 36Euro per person. This price was pure rip off. So I take the next train to Austria and I left my train in Salzburg. I quickly found there is a 4-bed room for 22Euro.

In Salzburg, I photographed the first time in my life a trolley bus. Salzburg has one of the largest trolleybus networks in Europe.

In June, the bridge near Stendal was damaged by flood. This means that the long-distance transport to Berlin has to take a detour via Magdeburg. For some time, the parallel route is back in service, but this has no catenary. Last week, for the first time inverted the "Stammstrecken-shuttle" with two diesel locomotives.
