Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (GWI) (NYSE: GWR) today reported traffic volumes
for June 2012 and the second quarter of 2012.
GWI’s traffic in June 2012 was 76,153 carloads, a decrease of 8,846
carloads, or 10.4 percent, compared with June 2011. GWI’s traffic in the
second quarter of 2012 was 232,315 carloads, a decrease of 17,193
carloads, or 6.9 percent, compared to the second quarter of 2011.
