I have had the 5D for a couple of years. Its a great Camera. It handles the high ISO good too so you can have some more fun with late evening photography too.

That was one of the main reasons I went full frame. I do a lot of indoor natural light shooting. I also do a lot of wide angle stuff and with full frame I'm finally getting the wide end of my 17-40.

You have a wide angle that works on both full and crop cameras? I got a 15-30, It works good if the sun is at your back but don't try it if there are bight light sources in front of your lens.

The 17-40L worked just fine on my Rebel XT. I just wasn't able to take full advantage of the wide end of course due to the crop factor. That's been my main lens for the past 2 years now.
